Southern Fried Tofu













250 g of tofu, soy sauce
The mixture for frying: 2/3 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of water, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, a little pepper, 1/2 bag of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder


Place the tofu on a paper towel and press it with the plate to get the water out in an hour. Slice and marinate in a little bit of soy sauce.
Heat the baking pan with oil in it, in which you will fry the tofu. Mix all ingredients with a whisk. Dip chunks of tofu, shake them and fry them until they get golden color. Tofu does not have to be "cooked", it can be eaten even raw. After frying drain it on a paper towel.
Serve fried tofu with slaw salad and fries.
