Rice and Onions Fritters


500 g of brown rice

3 onions

Coconut or other vegetable oil (for frying)

Red pepper powder and other spices (optional)

Sea salt

100g of whole wheat flour






Put the rice in a pot with two to three times more water and a little bit of salt. When the rice is cooked and remains without water, stop cooking it and leave it to cool down. Chop the onions, season with salt, add red sweet pepper powder and other spices (optional). Add cooked rice and flour at the end. Form fritters and fry them on one side, then twist them and fry on another one.
