Cereal Cookies

3 cups of wheat

1 cup of walnuts

1 cup of raisins

5 tablespoons of honey

Soak the wheat overnight. Place it in 6 cups of water and cook until soft. At the very end add a few leafs of mint. Grind the wheat, walnuts and raisins and mix them with honey and anise. Grind anise beforehand. Shape beads from the blend, or spread the blend on moist wafers and mill it like a roll.
Remark: You can use any cereal instead of wheat, and replace walnuts with hazelnuts or almonds. You can use dry figs instead of raisins. You'll get an interesting twist if you use carob flour in the blend. The same blend is used for cakes, and you can add 1 cup of mint tea to make a pudding.
