Bread Sticks

INGREDIENTS:

80 ml of oil

1 ½ tablespoon of agave nectar

125 ml of boiling water

1 packet of dry yeast

125 ml lukewarm water

1 teaspoon of honey

about ½ of smooth sesame flour

 

 

 

 

PREPARATION:

Take a big bowl, mix the oil, 1 ½ tablespoon honey, boiling water and let it cool. In a smaller bowl mix the dry yeast, lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon of honey and let it sit out for 5 minutes. When the yeast starts to swell add it to the cooled mixture of oil and honey and stir well. Add gradually the flour while stirring constantly. If the dough is too sticky add more flour. Cover it and put it in the fridge for at least an hour. Heat the oven to 220 °C. Grease the baking tray. Divide the dough to 12 equal parts and form each part into a stick approximately 30 cm long. Coat the sticks with soy milk and sprinkle them with sesame. Let them rise in a warm place for 30 min and then bake them for 15 min. Serve them warm.
