Sweet Rice

INGREDIENTS:

1 l plant-based milk

300 g round-grain rice (preferably brown rice)

pinch of salt

1 bay leaf

100 g sugar

2 packets vanilla sugar or vanilla extract

 

 

 

 

PREPARATION:

Put milk to boil. When it starts boiling, add salt, bay leaf and rice and gently stir to combine. Leave to simmer, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon to make sure the rice doesn't stick or burn. In the end add sugar and vanilla sugar/vanilla extract and remove the bay leaf.

* The rice takes about 15 minutes to cook.
