INGREDIENTS:
4 large, firm pears, peeled and cut into thin slices
300 g fresh cranberries
juice and peel of one orange
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ginger
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
180 ml pear or apple juice concentrate
2 large spoonfuls cornflour
PREPARATION:
Mix pears, cranberries, juice and orange peel, salt, ginger and nutmeg in a large pot. Mix juice concentrate and cornflour in a small pot. Boil on medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth. Pour over the pears and stir. Knead the dough, put into tin and fill with the mixture.
