INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of millet
1 cup of oat flakes, 1 cup of raisins
8 cups of water or soy milk
Sweetener (apple sauce, stevia, agave syrup), pinch of salt
2 – 3 cups of berry fruits
Topping:
4 tablespoons of agar, pinch of salt
3 cups of apple or grape juice
PREPARATION:
Rinse the millet and place it into a pot to cook with the raisins, water or soy milk and salt. Cook for 10 minutes and add oat flakes.
Add sweetener to your own taste.
After 20-25 minutes (if the millet is cooked), place the mixture on a moistened baking tray and flatten it with a spoon, let it cool.
When cool, make the topping with 3-5 cups of apple or grape juice (depending on the size of the baking tray) and 4-6 tablespoons of agar and a pinch of salt.
Add agar to the cold fruit juice, place on heat for 10 minutes and stir occasionally.
Spread fresh or frozen berry fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, currants, jostaberries, blackberries, grapes), separately or in combinations, on cooled millet and pour the topping over everything.
Let it cool and thicken.
