Almond or Hazelnut Milk

INGREDIENTS:

250 g of almonds or hazelnuts or both

1 l of water

Vanilla sugar (optional)

Pinch of salt

 

 

 

 

 

 

PREPARATION:

Soak almonds for 48 hours in cold water, then dry them. Blend with 1 l of water and salt. For a more dairy taste use 1:4 ratio (1 scoop of almonds on 4 scoops of water, i.e. 250 g of almonds on 1 l of water). Drain the mixture through cheesecloth or fine sifter so you end with a mixture without crumbs and lumps. For sweeter taste add some vanilla sugar. Blend the mixture again to combine all ingredients evenly.
