INGREDIENTS:
2 bananas
2 nectarines
2 or 3 ounces of vegetable milk
1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
PREPARATION:
Mix bananas and nectarines with hand blender, then add milk, flax, cinnamon and turmeric and stir everything together. You can drink it immediately or leave it for a bit in the refrigerator if you prefer a cold drink.
This is a perfect morning meal enriched with vitamins, minerals and other valuable ingredients from fruits, flax, cinnamon and turmeric. You can drink it during the day or evening as well, but it is recommended to consume on an empty stomach, at least two hours before consuming the next meal. In my opinion combination of bananas and nectarine or peach or banana are the most delicious options, but you can also combine it with other mushy fruit.
Flax is extremely healthy and has many medicinal benefits. Therefore, I suggest that everyone should include this meal in their daily diet. The most important thing is to get the whole flaxseeds, keep them at the room temperature and grind them just before use in order to keep valuable ingredients. If this sounds too complicated, one can always grind them earlier and keep in the refrigerator in a sealed container. If you are wondering why is it important to grind and consume flaxseeds in this form – the reason is that our bodies can use all the valuable flax components only if it is grounded, otherwise it has no effect. Also, you can use two types of flax, brown and yellow (gold), which is said to be better than brown. I use both of them in a combination.
Cinnamon is also very healthy. I am using exclusively Sinhalese cinnamon or cinnamon from Sri Lanka. There are also different types of cinnamon but apparently not so much healthy as the Sinhalese one. I usually use cinnamon in drinks because it regulates blood sugar and it is ideal for those who are struggling with weight because it reduces hunger. Also, it is recommended for diabetics. Cinnamon has numerous other medicinal properties as well.
My favorite spice is turmeric, and I use it daily since I had discovered it, either for drinks or for cooked dishes. Turmeric is one of the most powerful natural remedies and rightly called miracle of nature. Besides being delicious, it has a specific orange color, so it gives a special and vivid color. It is a little bit awkward if consumed in combination with water and lemon (this beverage is used for detoxification), because it leaves beautiful yellow color on the tongue :-)

I usually use soy or rice milk because I personally like them, but you can use any vegetable milk and even water (although it is much more delicious with milk) to prevent it from being too heavy and difficult to drink. If you love thicker drinks, reduce or don't use the liquid at all and eat it with a spoon.
